Dr. Scott A. Hosler
Growing up in a military family, Dr. Hosler has been able to experience various peoples and cultures across the United States and Europe. He moved to Oklahoma from Germany when his Dad was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base. He spent his high school and college years here, and considers Oklahoma his home. He was honored to receive the President’s Leadership Scholarship all four years while attending the University of Oklahoma, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He spent the next four years in the San Francisco Bay Area, attending Podiatry school at the California College of Podiatric Medicine. Upon graduation, he moved to Seattle, Washington where he completed his residency in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at Fifth Avenue Medical Center. He then completed a postgraduate Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the University of Washington. In need of more sunshine, he moved back to Oklahoma in 1991, entering private practice in Norman. Dr. Hosler is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Board Certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Oklahoma Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Hosler enjoys teaching podiatric surgery as a member of the teaching faculty at The Surgical Hospital of Oklahoma. Dr. Hosler enjoys Traveling , Photography, College Football, and most of all, spending quality time with his wife and family. His practice philosophy is to treat all patients with the same advice and recommendations as he would his own family members. Dr. Hosler sees patients in our Norman and Mustang locations.
