Dr. Gordon J. Bean
Grew up in Elk Ridge, Utah, and received his bachelor's degree from Idaho State University, where he was a member of ISU's Big Sky Conference Championship basketball team. He received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California in 1993, earning the prestigious Scepter Award, as the most outstanding graduate. Dr. Bean then completed his 2 year residency in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at Hillcrest Health Center in Oklahoma City in 1995. He is board certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and currently is a member of the Teaching Faculty and Podiatric Surgical Residency Training Committee at the Surgical Hospital of Oklahoma. Dr.Bean is a member of the OPMA and APMA and has been in private practice for 20 years. He specializes in sports injuries as well as children with severe flat foot disorder. Dr. Bean still loves basketball, along with golf and tennis, but his greatest joy, comes from time spent with his family and service in his church. Dr. Bean treats patients at our Moore and Edmond offices.
